For Hal, it all starts with meteors.

The clock starts ticking with the imminent possible destruction of Savannah, and Halvard Wagner is ready. One problem. He hasn’t had the dream yet, signaling who it is he needs to find. Instead, he ends up in a compromising position with Priya Artem.

Owner of Ghost Coast Bubble Co, Priya’s life is all about work and creating wonderful things to fill the bath. She’s introverted much of the time, and is completely bowled over when the one man she had been fantasizing about for five year saves her from becoming a wet scrape on the street thanks to an incoming meteor.

An afternoon spent together waiting out the assault brings several things to light, and Hal leaves the woman he’s been secretly interested in confused, hurt, and possibly hating him. But a woman like Priya doesn’t need his baggage, and Hal doesn't feel he's lucky enough to have her as his own.

But as with the rest of the Brotherhood, things aren’t always what they seem. Hal and Priya will have to figure out what is between them, and why, or the world is going to be in a heap of trouble.

Demons, dreams and secrets can’t change fate, and with the fate of the world resting in his arms, can Hal make the decision that will save them all?
